Akar — Who I amSulaymaniyah · Kurdistan Region of Iraq
The discipline came from the transmitter. Same discipline, new market.
I'm Akar Abdalrahman — a systematic trader and fintech builder in Sulaymaniyah.
I came to markets from broadcast engineering: thirteen years building the technical backbone of Kurdish media, from NGO IT desks to satellite teleports, newsroom infrastructure, and the end-to-end architecture of 16+ radio and TV stations across the region. That work taught me redundancy, verification, and how systems fail — before I ever read a chart. Now I apply the same discipline to markets and build the data infrastructure that doesn't exist for Kurdish and Iraqi users.

I've built 16+ broadcast stations from blueprint to live signal.
Satellite teleports, control rooms, SNG units for NRT, Rudaw, Korek TV, Kanal 4. Infrastructure that fails publicly if it fails at all. That's where the risk discipline comes from — not from a trading course.
Same hands build the engine and read the chart.
Most traders use platforms; most builders don't trade. I wrote the analysis engine, the data pipelines, and the sites they run on.
I build financial infrastructure for a market that had none.
No reliable parallel-rate source, no serious Sorani-first tooling, no honest Kurdish-language analysis. Being from here and speaking the languages isn't positioning — it's why I can build it.
